Polypropylene rope is made from versatile and durable material that is a popular choice in the banner industry for various products. Product Attributes

Rope construction is either twisted 3-strand split film or yarn construction. The material is synthetic. The rope is very lightweight and flexible and can be further softened. Its density is approx. 0.91. The rope is strong, tough, and durable, but not as strong as Nylon or Poly-steel ropes. The rope does not lose strength when wet. It has a moderate elongation at break load and low elasticity. The rope floats and does not absorb water, neither weakens nor shrinks. Its melting point is 170°C. It has poor electrical conductivity and is non-biodegradable.

Can be cut? Yes, but the ends unravel. We recommend melting ends with flame to seal them.
